She is survived by: her mother Vera Salsbury (Fricke) of Bethel Home; her husband Brian Simler; her children, William (Stella Giesbrecht) of Ballico, Dwonn (Tamara) of Louisville, Wesley (Iris) of Glenn, Sarah (Luke Peaster) of Ballico, Sharilee (Bryce Litwiller) of Charlotte and Angela (Christopher Unruh) of North Georgia; and her brothers, Douglas (Janet Salsbury) and Kalvin (Donna Salsbury). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
