She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Newton Cowart Sr. and Josephine Peek Cowart; and her sisters, Beverly Joan Koehler and Judith Cowart. She is survived by: her brothers, Lloyd N. "Boomer" Cowart (Carolyn) of Hartwell and Robert G. "Bobby" Cowart (Rosemary) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
