Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nellie Thompson Brown (Hartwell, Georgia), who passed away at the age of 93, on August 13, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gordon Thompson and Bessie Clark Thompson; her husband Hoyt Rucker Brown; and her siblings, Tommy, Frank, Howard, Joe, Guy, Wilbur, Edwin and Doris.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Brown (Marcie Jordan) of Toccoa and Nellie; her grandchildren, Andy Brown (Ruth) of St. Simons, GA and Chris Brown (Mary) of Statham, GA; her great grandchildren, Henley and Harry; and her stepgreat-grandson Eli.
Everyone will be asked to practice Social Distancing and may want to bring a lawn chair.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
