She was predeceased by: her parent John Henry Babb. She is survived by: her parent Nellie Nichols Babb; her husband Charles E. Mort I; her daughters, Florence Tewell and Ellen Knight; and her grandchildren, Kim Dossey, Marshall Tewell, Beth Ann Hammons, Cindy Dunla, Donnice Siegel and Sandy Haro.
