She was predeceased by: her parents, Ace Jordan and Della Jordan (Brown); her husband Fred L. Sokol; her son C. Vernon Turpin, Jr.; and her siblings, Harold Jordan, Geraldine Plunkett, Thelma Harbin and Ann Willis.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cindy C. Hensley of Bowersville; her stepson Eugene Sokol (Tammy) of Hartwell; her sister Mary Fowler of Carnesville; her grandchildren, Melissa Turpin, Victoria Carpenter (Brian) and Christopher Sokol; and her great grandchildren, Nick Turpin, Noah Carpenter and Ethan Carpenter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Botanical Gardens, P.O. Box 44, Hartwell, GA 30643.
