Mildred White Couey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred White Couey (Hartwell, Georgia), who passed away on June 13, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Floyd White and Annie Leona Pope White; her husband Billy L. Couey; her sons, James Couey and Paul Couey; and her siblings, Betty Mauldin and James White.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Irvin of Hartwell, John Graham of Hartwell, Bill Couey of Hartwell, Emily Carroll of Hartwell and Elaine Davis of Hartwell; and her grandchildren, Tony Couey, Brian Couey, Eddie Carroll, Tony Graham, Jacob Graham, Victor Graham, Josh Couey, Ashley Burroughs, Jessica Couey, Melissa NeSmith and Diane Lewis. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flat Shoals Baptist Church to feed the needy, 2999 Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville GA 30516.
