He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard William Risner and Tina Holcomb Risner; and his siblings, Steve Risner, Alan Risner and Janice Tyner.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ann Carson Risner of Hartwell; his son Michael L. Risner (Lucy) of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, William Silas Risner and Lorelai Avalon Risner. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 33607.
