He was predeceased by: his mother Vera Mae Aultman; and his siblings, Wayne Burns Daughtry and Bobbie Tom Daughtry O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Betty Daughtry; and his children, Barry Daughtry (Mary) of Suamico, WI, Edward Daughtry (Gwen) of Greer, SC, Angela Daughtry (Kurt) of Danielson, CT, Betty Ann Johnson of Greenville, SC and Sarah Daughtry of Lebanon, NJ. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
