She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Carl Hayes and Annie Mae Lewis Hayes; her husband Gene Talmadge Moorhead; her grandson Brett Moorhead; and her sisters, Louise Pearson, Janelle Cleveland, Clara Bell Cleveland and Lorene York.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Gene Moorhead (Teresa) of Monroe, David Moorhead (Christine) of Grayson and Diane M. Owen (Barry) of Brown Summit, NC; her sisters, Betty Crump (Bobby) of Anderson, Carlene Roper of Hartwell, Yvonne Edwards (Morgan) of Hull and Helen McMullan of Griffin; her grandchildren, Heather Morris (Brent), Casey Owen (Leslie), Tiffany Standridge (Cole), Kevin Banks (Heather), Kelcey Bednarski (Michael), Luke Moorhead, Aaron Moorhead (Alydia) and Emily Moorhead; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Womack, Oliver Standridge, Alissa Standridge, Harper Owen, Tanner Owen, Millie Banks and Beau Banks.
