He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Amos Evans and Maude Skelton Evans; and his siblings, Alfred, Luther, Amos, Joe Robert, Benson Evans, Francis McCoy and Olivia Burbick.
He is survived by: his spouse Jo Ann Evans; his children, Diane Christopher (David) of Hartwell, Sandra Milford (Tim) of Hartwell, Andrea Gehweiler (Bruce) of Dallas, GA and Sharon Voyles (Tony) of Carnesville; and his grandchildren, Luke Christopher, Adam Christopher, Megan Milford, Evan Milford, Breanna Gehweiler, Sierra Gehweiler, Colt Voyles and Levi Voyles.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, July 27, 2018 6-8 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors of Hartwell, 333 E. Johnson St. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church 4359 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, GA 30643.
