She was predeceased by: her mother Reba "R. N."; her husband Eugene "Gene" Hill; her son Mike Vassar; and her sister Edna Forsyth. She is survived by: her son Mitch Vassar (Dana) of Hartwell; her brother Rayford Baker of Hartwell; her grandchildren, Chad Vassar, Angel Amato (Jeff), Christy Mullen (Jordan) and Mitch Vassar Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Caeley, Ainsley, Lorissa, Abby and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church of one's choice.
