Laverne Gunn Linder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Laverne Gunn Linder of Hartwell, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ellar Gunn; her husband Ray M. Linder; her son Bruce Linder; and her siblings, J. D. Gunn, Ed Gunn, Charlie Gunn, Leonard Gunn, Nell Bates and Elizabeth.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Linder (Nancy) of Monroe, GA and Cherry Fowler of Memphis, TN; and her brother Eugene Gunn. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crest Lawn Memorial Park (2000 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell VFW Post 8086 Auxiliary, 173 Ack Powell Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
