He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe M. Brown and Lorene Herring Brown; and his siblings, Owen Brown, Julius Brown, Winston Brown, Tommy Brown, Eddie Brown and Jeanette Kay.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Bailey Brown; his sons, Mike Brown (Vickie) of Hartwell and Tim Brown (Angie) of Hartwell; his sister Cathryn Griffin of Hartwell; his granddaughters, Jennifer Berrong (Scott) and Betsy Brown; and his great grandchildren, Cane Berrong and Chase Berrong.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
