He is survived by: his children, Anna Gaines (Derek) of Danielsville, Christopher Segars (Candice) of Homer and John Harrison Segars of Hartwell; his siblings, Gary Segars, Danny Segars, Mark Segars and Jerry Segars; and his grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Gaines, Hunter Eugene Gaines and Walker Scott Gaines.
