He is survived by: his wife Louise Ayers Rice; and his children, Jerrell Rice (Barbara), Gary Rice (Debra), Marie Bellamy (Freddie), Jerry "Scoot" Rice (Gloria), Linda Bagley (Tom), Teresa Harper (Kyle) and Merrie Mayo (Brad). He is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
