It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Wilson of Hartwell, Georgia, born in Tucker, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Andrew Wilson and Bertha Montine Welborn Wilson; and his siblings, Ralph Wilson, David Wilson, Amos Wilson, Joe Wilson, Robert Wilson, Ina Greer, Earline Bridges, Mildred Wilson, Margaret Milford, Louise Buice and Hazel Cofer.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Gunnin Wilson; his children, Nancy Hix (Tom) of Hartwell, Lisa Bucksot (Jeff) of Toccoa, John James Wilson (Joyce) of Hartwell, Linda Pierce (Mike) of Hartwell and Kathi Jo Vaughn (Johnny) of Hartwell; and his sister Mary Johnson of Decatur, GA. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
