He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Bishop Matlack and Eleanor Victoria Fellenbaum Matlack; and his brother Joaquim Matlack. He is survived by: his wife Mary Susanne Mahla Matlack; his children, Camille of Hartwell, John Matlack Jr. (Renee) of Monroe and Dan Matlack of Tennessee; his brothers, Wilson Matlack of Sacramento, CA, Douglas Matlack (AeJa) of Sacramento, CA and Paul Matlack (Heidi) of Sacramento, CA; and his grandsons, Johnathon, Joshua, Jordan, Chase and Tyler Matlack. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
