It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Moorhead Brooks of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Moorhead and Floy Holbrook Moorhead; her husbands, Howard Williams and Beverly "Dick" Brooks; and her brother Billy Moorhead.
She is survived by: her son David Brooks (Sheryl) of Hartwell; her brother Dan Moorhead (Janet) of Canon; her grandchildren, Connor Brooks and Madelyn Brooks; her nephew Brooks Moorhead (Jessica); her great-niece Eva Moorhead; and her great-nephew Daniel Moorhead.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center Fund, 3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell GA 30643.
