She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rowland and Lucy Snow Rowland; her husband Glen A. Herring; her children, Jeff Herring and Kim Herring Cantrell; her granddaughter Morgan Cantrell Waters; and her siblings, Clay Rowland and Modena R. Dyar.
She is survived by: her grandson Nick Cantrell of Blairsville, GA; and her siblings, Harry Rowland of Hartwell, Patricia R. Harbin of Fountain Inn, SC and Grace R. Smith of Anderson, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
