He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Leon Seymour and Dallas Loraine Martin Seymour; his wife Betty Hodgson Seymour; and his siblings, Edwin Seymour and Winona Scarboro.
He is survived by: his children, James Allen Seymour, Lynne S. Bowers, Jerry Davis of Anderson, SC and Lori S. Davis; his siblings, Charles Seymour of Jonesboro, GA and Mary Kesler of Hartwell; his grandchildren, James Bowers, Jennifer Mihalic, Jonathan Seymour, Daniel Seymour, David Davis and Katelyn Davis; and his great grandchildren, Virginia Seymour, Kayleigh Mihalic and Patrick Mihalic.
