He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Kesler and Susie Runette Manders Kesler; his wife Sue Potter Kesler; and his son John David Kesler. He is survived by: his son James R. Kesler, Jr. (Courtney Verdery Kesler) of Hartwell; his grandsons, Tyler (Emily) and Stephen Kesler; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Everly; and his sister Jane Kesler Riley (James) of Riverdale. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell St., Hartwell GA 30643.
