It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Saylors (Hartwell, Georgia), born in Canon, Georgia, who passed away on October 7, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin Saylors and Pearl Brady Saylors; his grandchildren, Michael Cook and Emily Brock; and his siblings, Blanche Burden, Ben Saylors and Leon Saylors.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Ruth Kennedy Saylors; his daughters, Veronica Owens of Hartwell and Linda Brock of Canon; his siblings, Joe Saylors of Canon and Ester King of Lavonia; and his grandchildren, Dillan Brock and Shonda Risner. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
