He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Martin and Dora Roper Martin; his wife Joanne Teasley Martin; and his siblings, Samuel Martin and Mary Sue Sartain.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Martin (Dani) of Hartwell and James K. Martin (Jodi) of Anderson, S. C.; his grandchildren, Sara Stevens, Brent Burr, Jennifer Seawright and Chelsey Melnik; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Abby, Wyatt, Emma and Lily.
