He was predeceased by: his father Carlos Augustin; his siblings, Ida Gabriella Augustin and Carlos Augustin-Escala; and his close friend Betty Jo Augustin. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Brown Fleming Augustin; his daughters, Joann Lynn Augustin of Chattanooga, TN, Jennifer Augustin-Rogers (Ronnie E. Hale Jr.) of Houston, TX and Beth McCausey (Burton) of Travelers Rest, SC; his sister Glenda Terry Augustin; and his grandchildren, Scott Tyler Rogers, Kayleigh Marian Augustin, Breven Bryce McCausey and Baylee Jean McCausey.
