He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Freeman and Faith Jewel Hunter Freeman; his wife Janice Arnold Freeman; his daughter Tammy Freeman; and his siblings, Reece, Bill, Harold, Dan Freeman and Amy Cantrell.

He is survived by: his son Leebo Freeman (Penni) of Hartwell; his siblings, Terry Freeman (Susan) of Hartwell, Lena McCollum of Starr, SC and Mae Beebe of Hartwell; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Freeman (Marion) of Commerce, GA, Patience Price (Corey) of Hartwell and Lee Freeman of Hartwell; his great grandchildren, Jayden Freeman, Kamrelyn Price, Layla Freeman, Emberlee Price, Hanna Freeman and Jhase Freeman; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Arnold of Nanuet, NY, Faye Winn of Hartwell and Florence Freeman of Commerce, GA. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
