He is survived by: his wife Joann Thornton; his sons, Lee Thornton and Kevin Thornton (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Aleeya Mikaela, Kingston Demarco, Nicholas Jerie and Halee Michele; and his siblings, Nancy Thornton, Imogene Thornton, Margaret Rucker (Troy), Faye Thornton and David Thornton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
