He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rowland and Lucy Snow Rowland; and his siblings, Clay Rowland, Jan Herring and Modena Dyar.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Rowland of Hartwell and Harry Rowland of Hartwell; his close friend Brenda Canady of Hartwell; his sisters, Grace Smith of Anderson, SC and Patricia Harbin of Fountain Inn, SC; and his grandchildren, Allyson, Amie, Corey, Mallory and Kalen. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
