He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude H. Bailey and Lola Motes Bailey; his former wife Wilene Brown Bailey; his son Tony Bailey; and his sisters, Etta Mae Bailey and Opal Elrod.
He is survived by: his wife Lettie Mae Rousey Vickery; his stepdaughters, Martha Bryan of Roswell, Helen Mize of Dewy Rose and Bonnie Wilson of Liberty; and his brother Herman Bailey of Hartwell. He is also survived by five step grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell GA 30643.
