It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Floyd Dye Jr. of Hartwell, Georgia, born in Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Tankersley Dye; his children, Suzanne Dye and Dean Alvin Dye; his brother Howard Dye; and his parents, Harold Floyd Dye, Sr. and Jewell Estelle Childs Dye.
He is survived by: his son Dwayne; his daughter-in-law Donna Dye of Hartwell; his grandchildren, Daniel, Alison Dye, Megan, Andrew Smith, Adam and Caitlin Dye; his great grandchild Andrew "A. J."; his siblings, Jackie Dixon of Elberton, Marguerite McCall of Elberton, Tommy Dye of Abbeville, SC, Kenneth and Ellen Dye of Elberton; and his sister-in-law Anne Dye of Elberton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
