He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Harris and Guynell Milford Harris; his wife Mary Fleming Harris; and his siblings, Samuel Harris and Jacqueline Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Harris of Woodstock, GA, Kathy Dean (Tommy) of Danielsville, GA and Susan Cleary (Mike) of San Antonio, TX; his sister Lucy Griffith (Thomas) of Hartwell; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dean, John, Patrick and Andrew Cleary; his great grandchild Alice Cleary; and also Garry Meeks.
