It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ertzberger of Hartwell, Georgia, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Ertzberger and Sara Higginbotham Ertzberger; his parents-in-law, Julian and Opal Elrod; and his grandchildren, Hannah Grace and Joshua Luke.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Elrod Ertzberger; his children, Georgia Harris (Josh) of Hartwell and Jim Ertzberger (Lindsey) of Madison, FL.; and his grandchildren, William Harley Harris, John Blake Harris, Jason MIchael Harris and Tank.

Due to the health concerns and Covid-19 their will be no formal visitation.
