With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Ankerich (Hartwell, Georgia), who passed away on February 23, 1998 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tully Ankerich and Sue Ankerich (Alewine). He is survived by: his wife Carol; his son-in-law Charlie Snipes; his sister-in-law Lorraine Puerta; and his nieces and nephews, Anna Cobb (Mark), Jon Puerta, Dylan, Jake and Lauren Cobb.
Rather than flowers, Gene asked that donations be made to any charity that rescues four-legged critters from homelessness.
