With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Rayton of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cullen Rayton and Annie Clara Rayton; his daughter Cheryl Rayton Bates; his siblings, Dollie Maxwell, Edna Rayton, Cornelia Rayton, Wyllie Rayton, Cullen Rayton, Jr., Tom Rayton, Cee Rayton and Willie Rayton; and his close friend Lammie Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Geraldine Heard (Stewart) and Ralp Rayton (Doris); and his children, Luther, Jr., Randy Dale Rayton, Freddie Glaze and Gloria Dean Rayton Oglesby. He is also survived by Fifty one grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
