She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Skelton and Annie Bowen Skelton; her former husband David Fowler; her husband William Clardy; her daughter Nancy Fowler Adams; and her siblings, Brownie Skelton, David Skelton, Otis Skelton, Sam Skelton, Irene Simpson, Lizzie Mae Chastain, Lillian Sadler and Agnes Chastain.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Merz (Don) of Ft. Myers, FL; her son-in-law Bobby Adams (Peggy); her grandchildren, April Adams, Michael Adams (Amy), Catherine Fowler (Chris Conrads) and Mark Horner; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Adams and Fowler Adams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flat Shoals Baptist Church, 2999 Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, GA 30516.
