She was predeceased by: her parents, Mell Melton and Viola Blanch Clark Melton; her husband Bobby Joe Dalton; and her son John Dalton. She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Edward Luke), Georgia, Rita Cole (Georgia) of Canon, Roger (Sonya Dalton) and Jimmy (Jennifer Dalton); and her sister Fay Arendall. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
