It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Pearson of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Earl farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Earl is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Jefferson Pearson and Mildred Irene Rhodes Pearson; and his daughter Ashley Marie Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dickson Pearson; his children, Jim Pearson and Kimberly Laws; his sisters, Patsy Cumbie of Gainesville, GA and Kaye DeLong of Gainesville, GA; his friend Larry Moore of Hartwell; and his aunt Lucille (Yarger). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643).
