Gibson (Hartwell, Georgia), born in Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on April 6, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hubert Gandy and Eula Ponder Gandy; her husband Joseph Riley Gibson; and her son Joseph Wayne Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Joe Hartwell; her daughter Debbie Gibson of Hartwell, GA; her daughter-in-law Mattie Boles Gibson of Monroe; her grandchildren, Barry Gibson (Clellie) of Dacula, Danny Pickens of Athens, Christy Smith (Scott) of Concord and Lisa Renee Waldrop (Trey) of Freeport; her sister Eva Rae Speed of Fairfield; and also Lake Hartwell. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.
