He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Johnson and Anna Self Johnson; and his brothers, Pete, Buddy and Kenny Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Beck Johnson; his children, Mike Johnson, John Thompson of Canon and Becky Partin of Seneca, S. C.; and his brother Jerry Johnson.
