He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Oliver Haygood and Annie Segars Haygood; his wife Mary Blanch White Haygood; and his siblings, Lam, Frank, Johnny, Jerry, Bob, Kenneth, Billy Haygood, Ruth Chatham and Sara Welborn.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy W. Haygood (Shanon) of Hartwell and Kim Berryman (Phillip) of Hartwell; and his grandchildren, Jon Haygood (Hannah), Jessica Ashworth, Brittany Madden, Hunter Berryman and Amber Berryman. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
