It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Simpson Borders (Hartwell, Georgia), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Simpson and Amanda Link Simpson Ethridge; her husband Frank Borders; and her brother Doug Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Angie Gholston (Solomon) of Statesboro, GA, Bryan Borders (Tracy) of Hartwell and Christopher Borders of Tamassee, SC; her siblings, Robbie Walker, Cindy Sokol of Hartwell, Dena Ethridge of Royston and Donnie Ethridge of Hartwell; and her stepfather Walter Earl Ethridge of Hartwell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
