She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam L. Shaw and Lola Mae Prather Shaw; her husband Jim Tom Adams; her son Tommy Adams; and her siblings, Mary "Jim" Tate, Edna Phillips, Arleen Starrett, Billy Shaw and Boyd Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Cowart (Benje), Eddie Adams of Hartwell and Kenneth L. Adams (Dona); her brother Hugh Shaw; her grandchildren, Kristi Amick, Kevin Cowart (Brittini) and Tommy Adams; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Amick and Bentley Cowart.
