He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown "Bill" Yates and Marilyn DeLisle Yates Spence. He is survived by: his brothers, Greg Yates (Leesa) of Bowersville, GA and Jason Yates (Polly) of Honea Path, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
