With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Powell of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Powell and Myra Elrod Powell; his wife Evora Haley Powell; and his grandson Brian Teasley. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Powell of Hartwell and Stacy Powell of Anderson, S. C.; his stepdaughters, Shelia Teasley and Rhonda Marett of Hartwell; his brother Jimmy Powell of Dallas; and his grandchildren, April Sanders, Shane Rowland, Christopher Michael Powell, Amber Mayfield, Zachary Powell, Robin Bannister and Lukas Marett.
