He was predeceased by: his parents, Flem Lee and Louien Smith Lee; his son-in-law Tony Chastain; his siblings, Carolyn Elgin and Dan Lee; and his stepdaughters-in-law, Diane Carver and Betty Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Carver Lee; his children, Elizabeth Joy Chastain of Eastanollee and Shannon Lee of Colbert; and his stepsons, Thomas Carver of Canon, James "Doug" Carver of Hartwell and Jerry Carver (Marie) of Hartwell. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
