He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Franklin Johnston; and his wife Yoko Hasegawa Johnston. He is survived by: his parent Caroline Elizabeth Swenson Johnston; and his children, Barbara Camp of Hartwell, Susan Bush of Biloxi, MS and Robert Johnston of Suwanee, GA.
