He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Gaines Forbes; his daughters, Sharon Forbes of Jefferson and Charlotte Frier of Summerville, SC.; his stepchildren, Cindy Saucier of Athens, Steve Seawright of Hartwell and Ernie Seawright of Decatur; his sister Joyce McGehee of Abilene, TX; and his aunt Thelma Dicky of Nova Scotia.
