He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dial Brown and Hattie Mae Dutton Brown; his wife Hilda Warnell Carter Brown; his daughter Janet Lynn Jones; and his siblings, Hazel Brown, Tom Brown, Lucille Wilhite, Fred Brown, Amos Brown, Bruce Brown, Felton Shirley, Pauline Jordan, Eunice Dutton, Tommy Brown and Roy Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Lynn Brown), Danny Dale (Betty Brown), Teresa Ann (Todd Burrows) and Donna Gail Chambers of Elberton, GA; and his siblings, Betty Burton of Honea Path, SC and Larry Brown of Canon, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
