It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Lawrence of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lawrence and Mary Segars Lawrence; his wife Peggy Peeples Lawrence; and his siblings, John Lawrence, Billy Lawrence, Jimmy Lawrence, Katherine Buffington, Viola Clark and Betty Jo Carruth.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Lawrence (Sonya Mays) of Hartwell and Jeff Lawrence (Lisa) of Lavonia; his siblings, Bobby Lawrence of Hartwell, Eugene Lawrence of Hartwell, Inez Holland of Hartwell, Evelyn Gaines of Elberton, Annie Ruth Burrell (Mac) of Elberton and Faye Turner (Berry) of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Josh, Tristal and Brianna Lawrence. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
