It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cedric Martin of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Thomas Martin; and his grandparents, James Martin (Trig), Timothy Freeman and Vola Allen. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Turman (Horace); his daughter Nijah Alshana Martin of Cascade, GA.; his godchildren, Trey Humble, Shanae Dye, James Dye Jr., Ricus Dye, Shyricus Thornton, Brianna Hickman and Terry Williams; his siblings, Melvin Martin (Twailer) of Hartwell, Jennifer Shumaker (Stanley) of Hartwell, Shala Chapman (Curtis) of Hartwell and Debra Brewer (Billy) of Hartwell; his stepbrother Brandon Turman; and his grandmother Ida Ruth Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
