It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecile Baker of Hartwell, Georgia, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Weldon and Willie Clayton Rumsey Weldon; her husband John Thomas Baker; her grandson Jonathon Baker; and her siblings, Dorsey, Hardy and Ennis Weldon.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Baker (Deanie) of Vanna, Perry Baker of Hartwell, David Baker (Paula) and Teresa Sanders (Dennis) of Hartwell; and her grandchildren, Aubrey, Adam, Charity Ann, Kaylynn, Levi, Zack and Jared.
Due to health concerns and Covid-19 the family will not have a formal visitation, however, Mrs. Baker will lie in state at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 12-5 p. m. for those that would like to pay their respects and sign the guest registry.
Grandchildren, Aubrey, Adam, Charity Ann, Kaylynn, Levi, Zack and Jared along with four great-grandchildren survive.
